October

October always hits like a ton of bricks
That represent the changes we build with.
Glass from stoned houses falls like autumn leaves.
The sense of distance hits like intense rushes to find relief.
Bent on knees seeking some closure
Like pods that never bloomed once spring was over.
The changes in colors can change your view,
And sometimes pain comes hard with the news.
No use in changing now.
No using in changing how
I'm singing loud and I sing like the breeze believes we'll be alright.
I sing loud trying to bring out the best tonight.
Priceless moments now sold for cheap conversations.
Priceless gold now filled with tin replacements.
