God's currency
Personified in a lady
With a Sinatra smooth
Afternoon breeze
Tuned to a catacomb
Diamond Dune
Where my memory
Zooms into imagery
Of a nuclear infinity.
Check the divinity
Of the monetary
Value of Luck;
A stiletto mellow
Aphrodite hiding a rut
She put herself in,
Running amok
In a gamblers fist
Or a candles wick
On a sick mans blind date
Looking for a new list
Of priorities,
Sealed with a first kiss.
Channel searching
Like Scrooge's memory
But of Lucky's murking
Smirking devilish lurking
Fishing reel
Tear jerking
With the bait
Being a mistake or flaw
She claws with her nails,
Piercing the very veil
Of my misfortune
And rapes the very forces
I use to keep myself up.
God's gift to world
Was a fortunate girl
Who went by the name of Luck.
